The Sound Of Music

It’s been awhile since I’ve published……obviously! No pictures, no poetry, no thoughtful ramblings when this brain of mine goes off on a tangent. Why? Because I have been extremely busy with rehearsals for The Sound of Music…..on top of work, and a new relationship. I originally had not planned on performing in any theatre productions this year due to my “real job” which funds all my little passions and projects. But I had a gap in my travel schedule and this opportunity fell into my lap. The chance to play Von Trapp on the Ruth Eckerd stage was too good to pass up. While it has at times been both emotionally and physically exhausting with the occasional ups and downs, it has been ultimately enjoyable working with all these kids and young people. After all, I am a big kid at heart myself. If you are one of my local friends in the Tampa Bay area, come and check out our show. We just moved into the theatre yesterday and still have a lot to do with only two days left to do it in. But if experience has taught me anything, it should all come together at the very last minute, stressful as it may be. As soon as the show is over I am off to Chicago on business but hope to get back to writing and photo projects sometime in mid August.
